Alison’s own healing journey began in 2002 when she experienced frightening symptoms of numbness and double vision leading to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. 

Alison embraces a holistic outlook on health and wellness.

She believes no matter where we are we can always enhance our health.

She can help you balance your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects offering healing and clarity with energy healing and spiritual guidance. 

Alison offers Rainbow Energy Healing sessions, Intuitive Reiki Energy sessions, Chakra balancing, Intuitive card readings, and Reiki certification courses.  

She facilitates workshops, meditation circles, and Reiki shares.

I love to paint animals, in particular dogs, cats and horses, they are my favourite!

But I have branched out and painted wild animals and birds too.

I focus on bringing the attributes that give life to your pet into each and every portrait that I complete.

I was born and lived most of my life in Cheshire in England, moving to Canada in 2004 after meeting my husband Len. 

We lived in Mississauga for a short period, then Oakville and now we are living in the beautiful Niagara Falls.

I am self taught, although I come from an artistic background, both parents and all my siblings are involved in art in some way, but all totally different from each other.

I have been a healer member of The Healing Trust in the UK for 43 years and I am also a Reiki level 3 practitioner.

This, I feel, helps explain why I have often been told that I manage to “capture” the spirit of the animal in my portraits, something that can never be done with a photograph.

My portraits are painted from photographs.

The finished portraits are 9 inches by 12 inches in size and are provided unframed so you can choose a frame to match your home décor.

If you live in the Niagara region, I prefer to meet your pet and take some photos myself, when I meet your pet in person, I can get a better feel of their character and spirit.

Of course, this is not always an option if the portrait is a surprise gift for someone, so there are detailed instructions on how to take the best photos on my website, you can also see examples of my work.

If your beloved pet is no longer with you I will do my best to work from the photos you have.

Hi, I’m April from The Guided Hive. I light up the world with my handcrafted beeswax candles and have been reading tarot with a splash of mediumship for a few years now.

My love for travel greatly influences my design process.

One of my memorable experiences was in Bali, where I sourced beautiful fabrics for my collection of Resort Wear.

Following this, I attended numerous trade shows across different cities, including Montreal, LA, New York, and Toronto, to discover unique and stylish fashions.

My journey began in Canada in 1977 with Barb’s Boutique in Welland, which later evolved into Soullycreated in St. Catharines. Infused with a holistic flair, I expanded my offerings to include hemp products and therapies, with my presence extending to Niagara on The Lake.

Alongside my passion for fashion, I pursued studies in Holistic Health, becoming a manufacturer of Hemp Ear candles distributed across Canada and the USA.

Additionally, I delved into the practice of Reiki, exploring healing through our chakras.

For two decades, my retail shop thrived in Lewiston NY until a fire forced its closure in 2022.

Today, I continue to share my creations through Etsy and my website, Soullycreated.

Connie uses the Usui Reiki technique where all your 7 chakras will be balanced leaving you feeling lighter, and more centred.

Connie has a passion for helping others. She started this studio to share the benefits of Reiki with her community. ​

Although Reiki is not an Indigenous modality, Connie is proud of her Metis ancestry and finds great comfort in it; and resonates with First Nation teachings.

Connie was thrilled when she learned that there were 7 Chakras in a Reiki Session; as there are also 7 Sacred Grandfather Teachings: Humility, Bravery, Honesty, Wisdom, Truth, Respect and Love.

Connie recognizes that these teachings align with the Reiki Principles in that when practiced, they lead to living a good, happy, healthy and fulfilling life.

Connie was delighted when she heard about the 7th Generation Principle which is a philosophy that the decisions we make today affect the next 7 generations into the future.

Connie does not believe that this only applies to our sustainable world, but also it relates to our spiritual world.

Connie strongly believes that who we are today; how we shape and form our families by our behaviours (how we treat one another, particularly our children, grandchildren and all family) will affect the next 7 generations.
